The apostille is a resolution, a note, an observation, applied to a petition or an official act. It is actually a square-shaped stamp (with a 9 cm side), identical in all member states of the Hague Convention and which is applied directly to the document to be legalized, or on an extension of it. Translation direction represents the chosen linguistic combination:
A page is calculated at a number of 1800 characters without spaces (can be calculated using the Wordcount option in Microsoft Word). Civil status documents, certificates and attestations are charged as 1 page.

For an authorized translation, a clear scanned copy is sufficient. The original or a certified copy is required for notarial legalization, because the notary must see the document from which the translation was made.
Yes. Documents travel by courier, and the translation can be delivered to you by courier anywhere in the country. For legalization, the physical original is required.
Yes, to both offices, during business hours. For interpretation, however, an appointment in advance is required.
